Julianna Paula Bernas

Julianna Paula Bernas, also known by her students "Miss Julie" is a 21-year-old student-teacher from Cavite State University Don Severino de las Alas Campus who’s currently taking a degree in the program of Bachelor of Secondary Education with a Major in English. She was born on June 26, 2003, and raised in the Municipality of Dasmariñas City, and currently resides in Biñan Laguna with her mother, Enriqueta V. Bernas, and twin brother, Justin Paulo Bernas. 

 

She graduated from her primary education at San Miguel Elementary School in Dasmariñas City, Cavite, in the year 2015 and was a junior high school completer of batch 2019 at Dasmariñas Integrated High School with honors. She also finished senior high school at Emilio Aguinaldo College of Cavite in 2021 under the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand with an award of high honors and perfect attendance.

Miss Julie has completed Field Study 1: Observation of Teaching-Learning in an Actual School Environment at Indang National High School, Indang Cavite, and Field Study 2: Participation and Teaching Assistantship at Tropical Village National High School, General Trias City, Cavite.

Aside from dedicating her college as a pre-service teacher, she is a student leader and a member of different organizations at the said university, and an active participant in various educational discussions, seminars, and trainings. To name a few of her memberships, in the recent years she served as the Finance Officer of Education Circle Commission on Election, Vice President for Documentation in year 2023-2024, Head of the Senate (for Second Semester) and Senator for Documentation (for First Semester) of year 2022-2023 in the highest student governing body of their department, College of Education - Student Council. She wouldn't have been able to step into this organization if she hadn't started in 2021 as a member and Secretary General of the Committee on Societal and Environmental Awareness in the University of First Year - Student Council. Further, she also hosted the CEd-SC CEd Class Representative Forum 2023 and the CEd-SC CEd Student Leaders Summit 2022; was event head of the CEd-SC CEd Carol for a Cause 2022 and 2023; and was workshop instructor in the CEd-SC Workshop for Parliamentary Procedure and Workshop for Secretariat and Documentation in 2023.
